Conferences
SWALSS conferences are held annually at the Grand Hotel, Torquay. A four star seafront hotel with close proximity to the railway station and convenient parking. These are 2 day events. Programmes are designed to address strategic / management requirements and current regional / national issues relating to leadership in special schools.
CPD
Through out the academic year SWALLS offers a bespoke programme of day courses and workshops addressing curricular and leadership priorities. These courses are held in a number of regional locations. Recent courses have included:
- Aspiring leaders in special education (in partnership with NCSL)
- AS / ASD
- Vocational education
- Residential care
