We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner within our successful residential special school for secondary aged boys who are fully statemented with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties.
This is a fantastic post for someone who is able to give direction and to motivate themselves and others. The role involves evening work, split shifts and some sleeping in duties. We are seeking someone with:
- Experience of leading teams and a track record of achieving excellence within the care sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour.
- Ability to monitor the quality of care provided.
- Ability to review relevant policy and procedure.
- Ability to ensure that resources are managed effectively.
- Up to date knowledge of current affairs in residential special schools including the new Ofsted framework. Ability to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels. Be part of the senior leadership team and liaise with other agencies.
