How a QoL approach supports preparation for adulthood

Flyer | Booking Form

How do we ensure that leaving school is a bridge to a meaningful adult life, rather than a cliff edge for young people and their families?

This evidence-based session brings together the voices of autistic students, families, alumni and staff to explore transition planning issues for students and families. Using action research findings from a specialist-school setting, the session explores how a Quality of Life (QoL) approach supports outcomes related to student Social Participation, Wellbeing and Independence as well as supporting each family’s journey through this time of transition.

The session is led by Lotty Dee-Andrew
